The upcoming superhero movie Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 is based on the same-named superhero squad from Marvel Comics. James Gunn, who also helmed the first two films in the franchise, will direct it. It is scheduled for release on May 5, 2023.

Although the movie's premise has not yet been made public, it is anticipated to carry on the Guardians of the Galaxy team's journey through space as they face new obstacles and foes. Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Groot (voice), and Bradley Cooper as Rocket (voice) are all likely to return for the sequel.

James Gunn has dropped a few hints that the movie will emphasise the importance of family, especially the bond between Peter Quill and his father, Ego the Living Planet, who was first featured in the second Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Additionally, there have been rumours that the movie would feature Adam Warlock, a strong superhero from the Marvel Comics universe.

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are eagerly awaiting Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, which is slated to be yet another action-packed and enjoyable chapter in the franchise.

1) Chris Pratt

American actor Chris Pratt is well known for his work in both film and television. He was born in Virginia, Minnesota, on June 21, 1979, and raised in a small village in Washington state. Pratt originally rose to fame for his portrayal of Andy Dwyer in the 2009–2015 NBC series Parks and Recreation.

When Pratt was chosen to play Peter Quill/Star-Lord in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014, his career underwent a significant change. Pratt's performance was hailed for its charm and comedic timing, and the movie was a critical and financial success. In the follow-up Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, as well as in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, he later played the same character again.

Pratt has acted in a number of big-budget films, including Jurassic World, The Magnificent Seven, and Passengers, in addition to his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has received numerous nominations and accolades for his acting, including a Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer Movie Star for Jurassic World and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series for Parks and Recreation.

2) Zoe Saldana

Actress and dancer Zoe Saldana is from the United States. She was reared in Queens,

New York, after being born in Passaic, New Jersey, on June 19, 1978. Saldana first rose

to prominence for her portrayal as Eva Rodriguez in the 2000 movie Centre Stage.

She later made appearances in films including Crossroads, Pirates of the Caribbean: 

The Curse of the Black Pearl, and The Terminal.

Saldana was chosen to play Neytiri in James Cameron's 2009 science fiction blockbuster 

Avatar. The movie was a great financial hit and went on to earn the most money ever at the 

box office. Saldana later played the same character in the presently in production Avatar 

sequels Avatar 2, Avatar 3, Avatar 4, and Avatar 5.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe flicks Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Guardians of 

the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Saldana played the character Gamora. She will play the same 

character in the next Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 movie.

In addition to her work in films, Saldana has taken part in a number of charitable endeavours. 

She supports FINCA International, a microfinance agency that assists female entrepreneurs 

in poor nations. Saldana serves on the board of directors for the company Brave Beginnings, 

which supplies neonatal critical care units in hospitals across the country with life-saving

 technology.
